The Challenge:
This niche, full-service accountancy practice was looking to facilitate client growth and required several different appointments across different functional areas in a short space of time. The practice is renewed for progressing the careers of their people, so opted to recruit entry level candidates across the tax, accounts and the business services team to avoid the competition and challenges when it comes to the availability of experienced practice professionals.
The Process:
Addington Ball has a long-term working relationship with the Practice Manager and met with key stakeholders within the firm to gain a real understanding of the requirements, time frames and longer-term business goals. As time was of the essence, our initial search was centred around directly approaching local graduates with a keen interest in finance and seeking their first career opportunity. For the senior appointments, we took a deep dive into the local market, with specific candidate profiles in mind and targeted passive job seekers with tailored approaches.
The Result:
During a three-month period, Addington Ball successfully recruited 4 entry level positions across all three functional areas, as well as 3 experienced senior hires within the team. The quick turnaround in filling these requirements was down to the precise, specified shortlists generated and the speed in which the client met candidates for interview.
