Tax campaign for high growth practice
The Challenge:
This Leicester based tax advisory practice helps SMEs, entrepreneurs and families bridge the gap to financial prosperity. They provide solutions around strategic tax, commercial property, trusteeship and SSAS pension fund administration. A high growth and acquisitive business. With overarching problems of operating in a challenging environment when it comes to the availability of tax professionals and the need to enhance its employer brand to attract talent in a competitive marketplace. Now entering a phase of high growth, dependent on hiring quality tax professionals in a candidate driven market.
The Process:
We met with the key stakeholders within the business to discuss what they were trying to achieve and in what time frame and as a result we agreed on Addington Ball’s “Recruitment as a Service (RaaS)” product which acts as a de facto internal recruiter for the business. The firm's commitment to Addington Ball has allowed us to take a deep dive into the candidate market within the Leicester area and we created a market map of tax professionals, identifying those who would best suit the core values of the firm. We then approached individuals through multiple channels, nurturing a small and targeted pool of candidates.
The Result:
We successfully recruited a number of tax professionals, from Partner level right through to entry level Associates. By creating a briefing document around their top class employee value proposition, this has proved to be a compelling offering and most of those employed were not actually looking for a new role. In recruitment parlance these are known as your classic “passive” jobseeker. Our RaaS product has proved so successful that we have renewed our agreement which will take us deep into 2024.
