Due to client growth, a long established and reputable accountancy practice based in Stourbridge are seeking an Accountant.

We are keen to hear from practice professionals with previous accounts experience that are seeking a fresh challenge within an open, growing and supportive working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Planning & preparing year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns and personal/corporation tax filings
• Manage and develop long-term client relationships
• Supporting juniors by providing feedback and advise where required

Requirements:

• Previous accounts experience from within a practice as a Senior Accountant, Supervisor or Assistant Manager
• Preferably someone qualified (ACA, ICAEW, ACCA or similar)
• IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, etc)
• An organised and proactive attitude with the ability to work under initiative

• A starting salary up to £60,000 depending upon experience
