Addington Ball were appointed by a property agency, on an exclusive basis, to help with their finance team restructure, in appointing a new Finance Manager. Before the process began, we had a comprehensive brief to follow, gaining a real insight into the client requirements as this was a hands-on opportunity, that is varied and reports directly into the Managing Partner of the business.
We considered candidates from both industry and practice due to the nature of the role to allow the client to understand how different candidate backgrounds may benefit them as a business moving forward. It became apparent after 1st stage interviews this opportunity would align itself to a practice professional seeking their first move into industry.

Job Title – Finance Manager
Salary banding - £40,000 - £45,000
Location – Warwickshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and implementing financial procedures
- Preparation of month-end P&L’s, balance sheets, reconciliations and cash-flow forecasts
- Overseeing day-to-day general cash management, ledgers and credit control
- Business Partnering with stakeholders and advising as required
